in the past few weeks we have been doing our own 4 face art. All of my faces are off a myth. I really enjoyed doing it. I hope you like mine. I worked hard on this.

My Myth

Kia ora
 This week we had to make our own myth. We all had to do one on some thing that we don't now why we have it on earth. Eg: why we have seasons , why we have day and night and why is the sun so bright and so on. I did why the tide goes in and out and why we have tar. Tylah and I worked together on it. I hope you enjoy it. Here it is.

Once upon a time there was a dragon-The dragons home was the mountains,

His bed was a soft mountain side.

His weight made it split in half and form a sea where he gets his drink daily.

He was a tall hairy dragon with smelly feet.

He always had a big smile which made wrinkles on his chubby cheeks.

His nose was as big as a cloud.

He was known as Water Dragon.

He could bring the tide in and out,

He used to drink the water and spit it back out because it was salty, and that also made waves.

On a sunny Friday,

Water Dragon went to go get a drink.

He noticed the water tasted different fizzy different he had swallowed polluted water and he had already taken a humongous gulp.

He spat it all out it. I can never drink water again he thought. But the people said "If there are no in tides any more the fish will die."

The people screamed at Mr.Water Dragon,

“Drink up, make the tides keep working.’.

Just then along came a fire dragon and said "What’s the problem." "I can't drink the polluted water and make the tides anymore" said Water dragon.

"Well I can take care of that" said Fire dragon. He gulped up all the polluted water and then did an enormous poop.He pooped up a mountain of sticky black tar and then he spewed back all the water which was sparkling clean again.

He became the towns hero.

And this is why seas have tides and why we have tar on earth.

I got 11/12 of the learning outcomes. I need to work on skip counting backwards in 2's.

I got 6/8 of the learning outcomes. I need to work on groupings to 100 and groupings of 10's in a 3 digit number.

Minotour persusive writing

Kia ora This week we have been writing about The Minotaur. The Minotaur is part bull part human. The Minotaur loves eating humans and I don't get why because he is part human. The Minotaur's owner was King Minos and he kept him fed by taking youths from Athens. Here is my persuasive writing to try and stop that happening.
