A new digital learning tool

This we have been trialling how to use Storyboard That as a digital learning tool. We based it on a story called The Anzac Puppy. We had to choose six words from the book: two nouns, two verbs and two adjectives.Then we had to put the word in the top box and had to find the meaning of it and put it in the bottom box.I decided to use photos from the internet for my images because I wanted war scenes for some of them.

Here is my learning from the whole of term 1 and term 2. We put it on our learning journey for the year. I would like to achieve all of my targets at the end of the year.

Matching the Moari words

This week we have been learning the protocol of a powhiri. We all had to match the Moari words with the English phrases of  words that could be used during a powhiri.
